Yides designs wedding dresses for women in the community and Nuchem is a dealer who mostly sells jewelry to rich ultra-orthodox women. Nuchem is summoned to court following Vermout’s suit, but the widows he conned unexpectedly testify on his behalf. After her wedding with Yoilish is called off, Libbi meets Borach, and they seem to have a good, special connection. But when she finds out that he’s the one who told the journalist about the plagiarized book, she angrily accuses him of trying to control her, just like Yoilish.
