The three friends and Jerry are feeling particularly worn out by things in general. On the way home after a particularly gruelling day at school they catch sight of Roy Johnson's advertising blimp. They climb up the rope to check it out. When they see how small the town looks form up there, and how insignificant their worries, they cut the ropes and drift off through the air. They end up on a small tropical island, where their every need is tended to by a group of girls who look a lot like Linda and the girls. They are made members of the family and the next morning everything changes. They are treated like slaves and just as it seems as if the natives are going to eat them for breakfast, Frank is woken from his dream by Jerry, shaking him from his nightmare. They are still up in the blimp, which is remains anchored to the ground. They clamber down the ropes and go home.

The school is having a charity drive and all the children are asked to bring in old clothes to send off to the third world. Jerry comes up with the idea of making a machine to print money so that they can send cash instead. Discussing the dubious ethics of forging money they decide that it's all right if you give all the money away. Convinced that the best place to hide the machine is in Oscar's shed they gather there to print one banknote and test it out by buying ice cream at the shop - it works! Encouraged by their success they begin to dream of using the machine to get rich, and end up promising Linda and the girls all sorts of gifts. In the meantime, their machine disappears and Oscar seems suddenly to be bathing in money. Unbeknownst to the three friends and Jerry, Oscar has actually won the lottery and simply thrown out their machine. The three friends have built a tree house as the headquarters for their secret club. Jerry wants to join and the three friends give him impossible tests to pass in order to become a member, secure in the knowledge that he can't possibly succeed so they'll never have to let him enter their club house. Against all expectation, Jerry's completes every test, each of which involves some prank played on Roy Johnson who lives next door to the empty lot where they've built their club house. After the third prank the three friends give in and lower the rope ladder for Jerry to climb up. This time, however, Roy Johnson has traced the perpetrator of these pranks and appears on the scene accompanied by a redneck with a chainsaw. Revenge is his as he gives orders for the tree to be felled while the three friends and Jerry jump for their lives.

The three friends and Jerry are playing cowboys when Linda and the girls come along riding real horses - not logs like the three friends and Jerry had been pretending with. Their honour as cowboys at stake, the boys promise to prove themselves in the saddle and accompany the girls to the stables for the show down. While the three friends are making fools of themselves failing miserably in their attempts at riding ponies, Jerry is forced to clean out the horse droppings in the stables. In doing so he manages to break one of the riding-masters many trophies. He tries to glue it back together with super-glue, managing to get more on his pants than on the trophy. Startled by the riding-master's return, Jerry falls from the hay loft and lands in saddle of the rogue horse Crazy Grim - a horse so fierce, no one has ever ridden him, not even the riding-master, who has promised to reward anyone who manages it.
