Suleima has been living in Milan for a year and her relationship with Saverio is starting to suffer because of this distance. A tragic event strikes Suleima and the entire community of ''La città del sole'': Teodoro Bettini, who had been missing for several hours, is found dead on the slopes of a hill, from which he fell. Saverio rushes to console and support Suleima.
