The day after their after-prom, Lou and Sophie discover the perfect way to make the most of their sabbatical: they buy themselves an old car. After agreeing to hide their purchase from their parents, they drive to the beach, where they meet Jules and Arnaud.

Lou tries to convince her mother of the need to keep her Dolores, but Caroline's closed-mindedness poisons their already complicated relationship. After a more or less successful date with a handsome dude, Sophie picks Lou up to go join Jules and Arnaud in an abandoned school.

When the girls pick up a friendly hitchhiker on the side of the road, little do they know that he will upset their plans for the day. For her birthday, Sophie invites the guys over to Fafard's to celebrate in style and forget the previous day's emotions.

A nearly failed BBQ dinner, unexpected guests, inappropriate revelations; Lou emerges from this endless evening upset. And when she learns what happened to Sophie, she will do anything to avenge her BFF, even if it means crossing the suburbs with her baseball bat.

Separated from each other for the first time in their lives, Lou and Sophie are bored like never before. They try to compensate by spending time with Jules and Arnaud, but the need to go to Sophie's mother's house pushes them to ignore the rules (once again).

Road trip to Gaspésie. The quartet stops at a motel, where their journey takes a new turn. Once the dust has settled, the youngsters realize the importance of irreplaceable friendships, but also of family despite everything. Lou and Sophie must make an important decision.
