K-Pop Academy

Presenter Rina Chae invites 80 talented teens and tweens to a live audition where they get to dance, sing and rap in hope of winning one of the 25 spots in K-Pop Academy.

25 dancers, singers and rappers begin day 1 of Rina's 2 week K-pop camp. These talented teens & tweens are divided into groups and make a start, but a couple now can't make it so replacements need to be found.

It's day 2 of K-Pop Academy and the serious work begins. Rina does some swapsies in the combos of groups, and while some start learning their first moves, the aspiring singers and rappers get down to work learning their lyrics.

While some groups are bouncing the commitment is proving too much for others and cracks are starting to show.

It's week 2 and our final chance to knock these groups into K-pop shape. Our vocalists hit the big time in the recording studio and there's fine tuning all around.

With the vocals down, it's lights, camera and make-up as teams get ready for their very first live performance.

The dance floor becomes a battleground as our K-poppers go one on one, a covers game pits the groups against each other, and there's a birthday surprise!

Season Finale: The Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival is coming up and the K-Pop Academy has been booked to perform live. But there are only 3 spots on stage - who will get the chance to perform and who will miss out?
