Android Kikaider

Three years have passed since Kikaider defeated the DARK. A thunderstorm heralds the appearance of Hakaida, now possessing the brain of the deceased Professor Gill, followed by Red Hakaider, Blue Hakaider and Silver Hakaider. They are after a young boy who is the key to a secret that will plunge the world into darkness. When the Hakaider Force attacks, Kikaider 01, the android of justice, goes into action to challenge them!

Ichiro tries to determine who Akira is, by searching for the woman in a photograph with the boy. When the trail leads them to a hospital, where they discover the woman has vanished, the Hakaider Force ambushes them. With his legs crippled by the Hakaider Four-Stage Attack, can Kikaida 01 protect Akira when his solar energy starts to ebb?

Just when 01 is about to be destroyed by the Hakaider Force, the sound of a guitar is heard and Jiro appears on his Sidemachine. After the Kikaider Brothers fend off the Hakaider Force, they leave Akira at a school for safekeeping. But, it is not long before the entire school is kidnapped… Can the Kikaider Brothers save the children in time?

The monstrous Silver Shrimp invades a home, taking a little girl hostage in order to nab Akira, leaving her mother no choice but to cooperate. Ichiro manages to rescue the girl, but Akira turns up missing. Meanwhile, Boss Hakaider summons dark clouds to block the sun, preventing Ichiro from transforming… Can Ichiro overcome and rescue Akira?

A mysterious egg washes ashore at a fishing village, containing Blue Gator, who has come to gather slaves to establish a Hakaider Force base on Aowani Island. Akira and a village boy are kidnapped and brought to the island, luring Ichiro to into a deadly trap deep below the ocean depths – will Kikaider 01 survive?

Red Centipede, disguised as a carnival magician, kidnaps children to use them in a sinister experiment for the Hakaider Force. In order to discover the whereabouts of their secret base where the children are held, Akira is used as bait. When Jiro comes to the rescue, Boss Hakaider stops him by playing Professor Gill's cataleptic flute.

Stopping at a roadside diner, Ichiro and Akira are attacked by the Hakaider Force's powerful Black Dragon. Akira manages to escape and his rescued, once again, by Rieko. Overwhelmed by Black Dragon, Kikaider 01 is stopped cold by the Hakaider Force's Satanic Thunder Maker. Can 01 recover and defeat Black Dragon?

Combining their powers and bodies, the four Hakaiders become the almighty Gattaida to destroy Ichiro and Akira. Jiro manages to rescue Akira, but Gattaida relentlessly pursues them. With their backs against the wall, a mysterious man, identifying himself as a member of a new organization, called SHADOW, abducts Akira!

After abducting Akira, Shadow Knight is not only pursued by Ichiro and Jiro, but also by the Hakaider Force. A three-way battle ensues, with Shadow Knight and Crimson Tortoise losing Akira to 01 and Kikaider. Left in Rieko's charge, Akira is still pursued by the Hakaider Force.

Big Shadow urges Hakaider to join forces with SHADOW, but he refuses. When Ichiro and Akira pass near his base, Hakaider orders all of his forces to come together to defeat Kikaider 01. Rieko comes to Akira's rescue, snatching him from Shadow Knight's clutches, but Silver Hakaider, and a squad of Androbots, capture them.

Defeated by Kikaider 01, Hakaider is revived and is enveloped into the SHADOW organization. A young boy blows the whistle on Ghost Woman, a Murderbot supervising the construction of a network of underground bases. Ichiro comes to the rescue, but can he defeat the combined efforts of SHADOW and Hakaider?

Rieko takes Akira to visit the home of an old friend, who has been replaced by a shape-shifting SHADOW Murderbot sent to capture them. The robot Werecat has been secretly using the living heads of victims to increase the capacity of a SHADOW computer system. Can Rieko and Akira escape her deadly fangs?

SHADOW generates artificial earthquakes to turn Tokyo into a ghost town. The Murderbot, Rokuro-Kubi, appears amid the chaos, and disguised as a newscaster, she begins causing even more hysteria. While Shadow Knight and Hakaider attempt to capture Akira, Ichiro is put in a stranglehold by the long-necked monster robot.

Big Shadow contacts the spirit of Professor Gill and discovers that Akira has a sibling who possesses a secret concerning Giant Devil. Narrowing the search down to a young girl, a ghostly SHADOW Murderbot, is sent to discover if she is indeed the daughter of Professor Gill.

Yamagata, a colleague of Professor Gill, is followed in order to find out more information on the mad scientist's offspring. SHADOW discovers that Yamagata has also stumbled upon a new energy source, so Hakaider goes after his daughter while SHADOW's Deathbot goes after Yamagata... Can 01 and Kikaider save them?

Akira is abducted when Ichiro is attacked by SHADOW Mummy. Jiro comes to the rescue, but is ambushed by SHADOW Golem. While 01 and Kikaider have their hands full, Rieko is tortured to reveal the secret of Gill's siblings. Meanwhile, Hakaider and Shadow Knight hijack a strategic bomber in order to drop an H-Bomb on Tokyo.

In order to power Giant Devil, SHADOW seeks the formula for a destructive substance and attempts to steal the formula from its inventor – and fail when Jiro rescues him – but Misao winds up with the formula and she is captured along with Akira. Big Shadow now moves forward on the completion of the omnipotent Giant Devil. Can the construction on this monstrous robot be stopped?

Even without the energy source to power his Heart Circuit, Giant Devil is able to annihilate an entire industrial city. In order to complete the Heart Circuit, Ichiro and Jiro must be eliminated – and SHADOW creates robot duplicates of Akira that are programmed to destroy Kikaider and Kikaider 01. Will they be able to see through this ruse and stop the destructive Giant Devil from mobilizing?

SHADOW's latest Deathbot, King Indian, conjures supernatural powers through ancient rituals to destroy Ichiro. Not to be outdone, Hakaider contacts the spirit of Professor Gill and is granted a power upgrade of his own. King Indian and his Indian Warriors terrorize the survivors of an attack on a film crew, including Ganta and friends, until Ichiro comes to the rescue. But, they are surrounded and outnumbered – while Hakaider awaits his revenge.

Big Shadow orders Hakaider to assassinate the chairwoman of an environmental organization, but Hakaider is obsessed with exterminating 01. Kidnapping Akira to lure Ichiro out for a re-match, Hakaider is severely disciplined by Big Shadow. Enraged, Hakaider goes berserk and challenges the Kikaider Brothers to a duel to the death. Can Hakaider defeat them both?

SHADOW goes after the blood of young virgins in order to create a new breed of robot monsters. Hakaider and Shadow Knight murder dozens of young women, in order to procure the proper blood type. Yuka, a student at a private school for girls, is found to have the desired type, and is attacked. Ichiro saves her, but now the dorm comes under siege by SHADOW's grotesque vampire bat robots.

Scorpion Strong takes the guise of a schoolteacher in order to put the students under SHADOW's mind-control. Big Shadow feels that his plan to have the children attack the Kikaider Brothers will succeed since they will not harm human beings. One of the students, Kenji, escapes but his parents do not believe his wild story. Rieko and Kenji follow Scorpion Strong to his lair, but are attacked by the brainwashed students.

Consuming fresh human blood as an energy source, Shadow Starfish attacks people indiscriminately to feed its need to mutate and multiply. Rieko is attacked by Shadow Starfish No. 1, but is saved by Ichiro. Not wasting a moment, Big Shadow quickly builds Shadow Starfish No. 2. Meanwhile, in his thirst for revenge, Hakaider lures Ichiro to a deserted construction site, and right into his diabolical trap. Can 01 outwit Hakaider and save Rieko?

SHADOW manufactures a battalion of robot hogs to initiate their new campaign of world conquest using humanoid Pigmen. The repulsive automatons disguise themselves as Mr. and Mrs. Nakanishi, the owners of an electronics company. When their daughter, Midori, realizes that her parents are imposters, she seeks out Rieko and Misao. With the situation growing darker, and Ichiro overwhelmed, Rieko makes a desperate maneuver to save her friends.

Zaddam, a powerful android created by SHADOW's base on the Moon, challenges the ranks of Shadow Knight and Hakaider with his psychokinetic powers. He also orders the assassination of an astronomer and his daughter, who witness his arrival on Earth. While protecting them, Ichiro and the pair and trapped in a Shadow rocket, and are transported to the lunar surface to die. Can Kikaider 01 find a way to return them safely to Earth?

Uchiyama Katsura is to present her late father's thesis on psycho kinesis at a scientific conference, but Zaddam fears that her father's discovery will damper his powers while boosting those of 01. To keep one step ahead of SHADOW, Ichiro disguises Misao as Katsura, but Hakaider sees through the plot, while Zaddam destroys 01's right arm – will the real Katsura escape, and can 01 fend off the terrible powers of Zaddam?

Using Katsura as a hostage, Shadow Knight tries to bait 01, but even if he rescues her, she is strapped with a belt of extremely high explosives. But, if Ichiro comes to her rescue and manages to remove the belt, a secondary plan with go into action – Shadow Knight will mobilize SHADOW's Hell Kappa robot which will attach itself to 01 and explode its internal Hydrogen Bomb! Can 01 foil Shadow Knight's plan and save Katsura?

SHADOW begins to replace human beings with robotic replicants in a bid to undermine Japan and seize control of the country. Meanwhile, they process the original human beings through hypnosis to convert them into living machines of evil. SHADOW's Princess Mermaid, whose beauty not only seizes her human victims under sway, but also captures Hakaider in her Mermabot form, instigates this sinister plan. Can 01 stop the terrifying Mermabot from overthrowing Japan?

Zaddam unleashes another reign of terror by harnessing the power of thunderbolts to create Raijin Plus and Raijin Minus. Hakaider tries to eliminate the researcher who could uncover their plot, while 01 is damaged by the Raijins' thunderbolt attack. SHADOW's master plan is to shock the population of Japan and transform them into indolent beings. Can 01 defeat this double threat in time?

SHADOW's Pollution Catfish reduces people into skeletons with its deadly toxic gas. A mysterious girl saves Misao and the boys, when they are ambushed by Shadowbots. Meanwhile, Ichiro encounters a female android, Bijinda, but he is not sure if she is friend or foe. After Mari is abducted by SHADOW, she collapses in pain – little does Ichiro realize that a bomb has been implanted in her torso!

Mari defies SHADOW and while Zaddam calls for her to be tortured, Big Shadow gives her another chance. Mari, who transforms into Bijinda, is ordered to destroy 01, yet she rescues Misao and the boys. Mari is torn – despite the conscience circuit installed by Ichiro -- tormented by the evil programmed into Bijinda, she stalks 01.

SHADOW plots to terrorize Japan by distributing explosive ink for fountain pens with their new Deathbot, Ink Squid. But Kenji, a schoolboy, uncovers their plans. Meanwhile, Bijinda manages to escape being re-programmed – before Ink Squid can eliminate the young boy, Mari appears. Can 01 foil SHADOW's murderous plot?

In order to determine the limits of 01's abilities, SHADOW sends Big Gorilla to fight him, while Mini Gorilla runs analysis. After the defeat of Big Gorilla, Bijinda takes Mini Gorilla under her wing. Unaware that 01 defeated Big Gorilla, Bijinda trains Mini Gorilla so that he may avenge his mother's destruction. Will 01 be able to stop this insane cycle of violence?

SHADOW sabotages wristwatches to awaken the violent streak in human beings. Mari manages to save a young boy, Daisuke, and his friends, but Zaddam switches on her pain circuit. 01 arrives at the last minute to save Mari, but Big Shadow orders Crazy Cuckoo to destroy her. Bombarded with his special waves, Mari's nuclear bomb will detonate when his clock reaches zero – can 01 defeat Crazy Cuckoo in time?

Hakaider creates a killer kimono and formal wigs that take control of their wearers, forcing them to kill. A young boy, Sabu, wants to buy his sister a kimono for her 20th birthday, but doesn't have enough money to do so. After meeting Mari, Sabu is given a killer kimono by Hakaider, disguised as a kind woman, and his sister lets Mari try it on. Will Ichiro arrive in time to crush Kimono Poison Fang and save Mari from inadvertently detonating her internal nuclear bomb?

Misao stumbles upon SHADOW's Time Tunnel and is whisked back to 1776. Followed by the bumbling ace private eye, Hattori Hanpei. Zaddam created the time tunnel in order for SHADOW's Ninja Squad to seize Edo Period scientist, Hiraga Gennai. 01 and Bijinda follow Hakaider and his Shadowbots through the time portal to uncover SHADOW's plot – can the android duo save Hiraga, Misao and Hanpei and get back to the future?

Big Shadow contracts an android assassin, Waruda, but because of his aversion to dogs, Hakaider is commanded to kill any of the pets found around the parameter of SHADOW HQ. When Waruda arrives, Hakaider catches 01 off guard and severely damages his right arm. Waruda rebukes Hakaider attempts at provoking a fight, so Big Shadow pits them to a duel.

Waruda delivers a letter to Mari, initiating a correspondence between the two. Meanwhile, Hakaider exterminates the Matsuyama Post Office and replaces it with a SHADOW Post Office. Soon, the town is consumed in chaos because of the bizarre missives, including a strange love letter to Mari. Enraged, Big Shadow plots to turn 01, Bijinda and Waruda against one another – who will be the last android standing?

A mysterious saucer appears over the night skies and unleashes a barrage of destruction. Ichiro is injured when he confronts the saucer, but is rescued by a boy named Kazuki and his little sister. SHADOW's Spacebots plot to kidnap Japan's top scientists. Duped into sending Kazuki into harm's way by his jealous classmates, Waruda attempts to rescue the boy after being reprimanded by Bijinda.

Forced to build an underground fortress for SHADOW, a construction crew rebels in a bid for freedom, but suffers severe casualties. One of the workers, Daizo, surrenders to stop the slaughter, but is labeled a traitor. Mari discovers Daizo's children in the freezing cold, and sacrifices herself to keep them warm. Waruda takes the frozen body of Mari away with Ichiro in hot pursuit. Can 01 save Mari and the construction workers?

SHADOW succeeds in creating an aerial battleship more powerful than their flying saucer, but the Shadowbots fail to sufficiently man the craft, so Big Shadow orders the abduction of Japan's top pilots. A young girl who trusts Waruda, comes into the possession of a Shadowbot brain module, may be the key to destroy the ominous vessel. Can 01 protect his friends and smash SHADOW's plans?

Children's shadows spring into a life of their own and attack them – this is the work of SHADOW's replicator gun, which creates evil copies of one's own shadow. A young boy who survives the ordeal is unable to convince his mother, but 01 arrives to save them. But, Hakaider uses the replicator gun to create copies of 01 and Bijinda, which are twice as strong – Hakaider's plans bear bitter fruit until Waruda steps in.

As the world is faced with an energy crisis due to the dwindling oil supplies, so does SHADOW. Zaddam creates a new automaton, the Aqualungbot, which functions utilizing seawater, not oil. Mari meets a young man named Toge Eisuke, who seeks to avenge his father who was killed by a robot. Eisuke is attracted to Mari, and she begins to develop forbidden feelings in return.

SHADOW begins to hijack produce shipments in order to damage the economy and to imbue distrust among the populace, throwing the country into a panic. They also plan to return the produce, transformed into bombs, onto the marketplace to create mass murder. Eisuke becomes involved while trying to track down Mari, who avoids him, and comes face to face with his father's killer – Hakaider!

Ichiro is stained with special indelible ink, which is a marker for SHADOW's deadly Bloodlust swords. Big Shadow equips his new Roninbots with the killer katana to hunt down and destroy 01. Mari goes on a search for a flower than can dissolve the ink, and comes across Waruda. Unable to articulate his feelings for Bijinda, while being hunted by the Roninbots, Waruda challenges 01 to a final duel.

Dr. Komyoji sends letters to Ichiro, Misao and Jiro to meet at his suburban Tokyo home, but upon returning to Japan, he is kidnapped by SHADOW. Under extreme duress, Dr. Komyoji is forced to complete a device that reconstructs and revives destroyed androids. Ichiro, Jiro and Mari come to the rescue, but are overwhelmed by SHADOW's all-out attack. Dr. Komyoji, however, has one last secret up his sleeve.
