While working in Germany, Antiša bought expensive, high-quality wall paint and sent it home. But when he returns after three months, he finds the walls painted with cheap paint. It doesn’t take long to realize what happened — Jure sold Antiša’s paint for a hefty price and bought a cheaper one. Furious, Antiša storms off to Grga’s tavern, wallet full of his hard-earned savings, determined to drink his anger away. There, he meets Štef, who’s also upset because Biba’s been nagging him for a year to repaint their apartment. Things take a turn when Antiša drunkenly drops his wallet in the restroom… and Štef walks in right after him.

A TV crew shooting a survey on retirees randomly interviews Grandma Stana and Grandpa Franc during their walk. Their short but fiery speeches go viral in the neighborhood — and especially within their families. Suddenly, Milka, Antiša, Biba, and Štef see a chance for power and decide to form a political party. But first, they must settle one critical issue: should it be called the “Herzegovinian-Prigorac Party”… or the “Prigorac-Herzegovinian Party”?

Štef is thrilled — a colleague is going on maternity leave, and he’s found a job for his son Neno as her replacement. But just as he shares the good news, the postman delivers Neno’s army draft notice. Panic sets in. Flavio claims to know a doctor who can delay Neno’s service, but Neno hesitates about faking an illness. Meanwhile, Jure goes even further and finds someone who can exempt Neno from the army entirely… but is this “doctor” even legit?

Six months later, Neno returns from the army, and the family throws a big welcome party. But Neno doesn’t have much time for them — he’s rushing to see Iva. Later, Iva calls the Prigoracs… only to learn that Neno is supposedly with her already. Confused and suspicious, she goes for a drink with Jure, who spots the girl of his dreams in a café — only to see her with another man. When Iva realizes that man is Neno, she’s furious. Has Neno really been cheating on her?

After 25 years of marriage, Biba decides she wants a proper church wedding “the way God intended.” Štef, however, refuses, claiming he won’t “marry the same woman twice.” But Biba threatens to stop cooking, washing, and ironing — and to kick him out of bed — so Štef has no choice but to give in. First stop: a premarital course. Meanwhile, the priest convinces Milka and Antiša to give a lecture to future newlyweds… on their “happy marriage.”

Antiša returns from Germany, sick of construction work and longing for family life. Milka urges him to retire, but he insists he’s still too young. Jure, however, “knows a guy” who can arrange a disability pension… for a price. Meanwhile, Štef develops sciatica, and Biba insists he see a doctor. There’s just one problem — Štef’s terrified of hospitals. To make matters worse, Jure’s shady “doctor” and Biba’s honest doctor share the same last name and work in the same hospital.

Štef grows increasingly frustrated — Neno sleeps until noon, spends all day online, and refuses to work. Meanwhile, the Herzegovinians are thriving. Jure and Jozo launch a new electronics store, appointing Grandma Stana as the official “director” for tax purposes. Neno gets hired as a salesman, and Štef is skeptical — until Neno brings home his first paycheck. Things go south when Barbara, Jure’s shady friend, floods the shop with cheap clothing… stolen from Flavio’s women’s fashion line.

Both families gather to watch the famous TV quiz show “A Piece of Luck”, hosted by Oliver Mlakar. Turns out Grandma and Grandpa were contestants — or at least, that’s what Grandma claims. As the family debates what really happened, the shocking truth comes out during a live episode… when everyone is invited to the studio.

Grandpa’s brother Miško, a composer, moves in with the Prigoracs — piano and all. Inspired to create a masterpiece, Miško has no time for mundane things like cooking or cleaning, much to Biba’s frustration. Unfortunately, his “creative process” mostly involves playing computer games with Neno. Hoping to spark inspiration, the family takes everyone to the opera… but Miško’s arrival also sparks jealousy at the Herzegovinians, as Antiša suspects Milka might be interested in Miško.

In a grand gesture involving Grga, Flavio, and a full band, Neno proposes to Iva — and she says yes. But now, both families must sit together to plan the wedding, and chaos ensues. Meanwhile, Jure proposes to his girlfriend Luca, but she rejects him. Determined to win her over, Jure decides to prove he’s not just a romantic fool, but also the “tough guy” she secretly likes.

The wedding day has arrived — but nothing goes according to plan. Iva dreams she’s struck by lightning in the church and refuses to go. Moments later, news comes that lightning did strike… not the church, but the hotel where the reception was supposed to be held. Scrambling for a new venue, they settle on Grga’s café. But in the chaos, Štef and Antiša forget to tell the guests about the location change.

After the wedding, Iva moves in with Neno and his family — and tensions rise quickly. Small disagreements between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law turn into explosive arguments. Iva accuses Biba of being too possessive, while Neno fails to defend his wife. Upset, Iva moves back to her parents’ house, but things aren’t any better there — Antiša is furious she left Neno, and Jure’s girlfriend Luca has already made herself at home. Luckily, Flavio steps in to mediate.

Realizing they need their own space, the newlyweds start searching for an apartment, but money is tight. Luckily, Grga knows a guy — through Flavio — selling a studio flat at a bargain price before moving to New Zealand. The catch? Štef has to sell the vineyard Grandpa gave him, and Antiša must dip into his secret stash of savings.
