“Jid Nitra” (Bow Maylada), a once-famous actress at the peak of her career, has her fate drastically turned upside down when she becomes "Boonta," a novice courtesan in the house of “Mae Faeng” (Joy Rinlanee). Though confused and struggling to make sense of her situation, Nitra discovers that she has traveled back in time to the reign of King Rama III. After enduring a night where her company is auctioned off, she ends up in a room with “Captain James” (Mac Stephen), who spends five tamluengs for the chance to be with her. Fortunately, Luang Thukkarat, or “Khun Chai” (Pon Nawasch), appears to rescue her. However, the rescue is only temporary, as Nitra is eventually recaptured and taken back to Mae Faeng’s house, where she is auctioned off once again.

Nitra (Bow Maylada) begins to adjust to her new world and life as "Boonta," a courtesan in Mae Faeng's (Joy Rinlanee) house. She is supported by Lamjiak (Dear Prisaya), a kind-hearted courtesan who helps her in every way. Meanwhile, Khun Chai (Pon Nawasch) frequently comes by to see her, showing his affection. However, Khun Chai's involvement with a courtesan reaches the ears of Khun Thapthim (Poo Piyamart), his mother, who disapproves of the situation. Nitra (Bow Maylada) has many suitors, especially Captain Johnson (Danny Luciano), who is so in love with Bunta that he even paid a deposit to redeem her and prevent her from serving clients at Mae Faeng’s (Joy Rinlanee) brothel. This makes Khun Chai (Pon Nawasch) anxious, fearing he might lose Bunta to another man. Meanwhile, Tio Thong (Diao Suriyont), a former client still infatuated with Bunta, continues to pursue her, much to the dismay of his wife, Kaesorn (Care Chattarika). But then, Nitra finds herself involved in a mysterious murder case when Lamduan, the younger sister of Chor (Mook Sirinrat), one of the brothel’s courtesans, goes missing and is later found dead under suspicious circumstances. However, her secret is uncovered by Mae Faeng (Joy Rinlanee), who punishes her and forbids her from doing anything behind her back again. Even though Nitra (Bow Maylada) has adapted to life as Bunta, she is still trying to find a way back to the world she once knew. She even consults an astrologer to predict the date and time of the next solar eclipse, which makes Khun Chai (Pon Nawasch) even more suspicious of Bunta.
Meanwhile, Mae Dok Kaew (Whipcream Dissarinyakorn) becomes extremely upset and tries to get Khun Chai's attention by any means possible. However, Luang Wasuthep or Khun Phuek (Pop Thatchatorn) always appears to stop her and is aware of everything going on. Another issue arises in Mae Faeng's (Joy Rinlanee) household when Nuan (Nam Nueng) runs away to return to her husband, only to be brought back and severely punished with whipping. However, after the client-stealing event, Nitra decided to establish a courtesan labor union because Lamjiak (Dear Pruetaya) was assaulted after going to a room with Captain James (Mac Steven) and had to rest.
