This episode is set in and around the town of Castlemaine a quaint town in central Victoria just 90 minutes north of Melbourne. Its goldfields country and Julia hits the track on a 21 km walk winding through towns, rivers and villages, along the way discovering surprising stories.
Arriving on foot Julia joins the track at one of the natural springs this area is famous for. She samples mineral water that is 1000 years old; digs for gold at the relics near Eureka Point; passes through the historical hamlet of Chewton, visiting and underground bunker; and wanders through the picturesque streets of Castlemaine before finishing up at the look out at Kalimna Point.
