Located in the municipality of Bananal-SP, it was built at the end of the 18th century, the farm produced sugarcane, anise, corn and other subsistence crops. It even belonged to Barão da Joatinga. Fazenda Loanda had its heyday in the 19th century, due to the great wealth brought by coffee, then, around 1850, they underwent a major renovation in the mansion, introducing elements of Neoclassical Architecture that was the fashion in Europe.

Located in Barra do Piraí-RJ, the name Taquara was given by the slaves, due to the abundance of fine bamboo found on the property, which was so named. The house was built, probably in the 1830s, in the shape of a quadrangle with an internal garden, and remains today, under the control of the 5th generation family of Commander João Pereira da Silva.
