Thursten Moore is a singer, musician and songwriter. In 1980 he founded along with Kim Deal the band Sonic Youth. Moore and Deal married in 1984 but separated in 2011, which was the end of Sonic Youth as well. The couple were finally divorced in 2013. While still a member of Sonic Youth, Moore had side projects, releasing solo albums and was collaborating with many different musicians (e.g. John Russell, Yoko Ono etc.), also writing and recording film soundtracks with Mike Mills, Dave Grohl, Gre
