Wijdbeens visits various zoos where he feeds the animals, cleans animal pens and gets to know the keepers. He gets to know special animal lovers and we also get to know a new side of him when he visits them to see and hear the special stories. After a short training as a cat whisperer, Wijdbeens talks to the neighbor's cat, does a high five with a Flemish giant and meets a holistic dog healer who is lavish with blossoms and acupuncture needles. In addition, Jan Wijdbeens compiles a Top 10 every week, containing answers to 'important' questions such as 'Who is most like their boss?' and 'Who is most like an animal?'.
