Nakada, the ace of the baseball team, skips practice to help out at his family's ramen shop. When Yoichi visits "Chinese Nakada," he learns that the shop is in danger of losing customers to a new ramen shop called "Kouraiken" that has opened nearby. Yoichi volunteers to help out at the town's ramen festival, but is overwhelmed by the deliciousness of Koraiken's ramen.
