In August 1944, as Allied forces push east from Normandy, a British battalion encounters fierce German resistance while trying to cross the Seine River. With bridges destroyed and no tank support in sight, they must fight to secure a critical bridgehead and continue their advance. On a ridge above the river, a single major’s actions may determine whether their position holds or collapses under a German counterattack.
