A little mouse is in trouble from mean Skat the cat, who's terrorizing the neighborhood. None of the mice dare go outside. Then a telegram is received. His Texas grandfather's coming for a visit, and Gramps doesn't scare that easily. When Skit's grandfather arrives, Skat chases them both. They battle the cat together.
