Fifteen-year-old Jenny crashes in the mountains on a stolen scooter. During the rescue, she hides from Markus and flees into the mountains. While Markus and his team search for the young woman, another teenager keeps him busy: his foster daughter Mia has returned. Her biological father, Lorenz, has brought her to Markus in Ramsau against her will, and she has no intention of staying. Markus has neither the time nor the patience for his pubescent daughter's moods, because the missing Jenny Eder is still missing and likely injured. Alex discovers that Jenny has run away from home. When her mother, Claudia, arrives from Vienna to put pressure on the police and mountain rescue, she suspects why the girl has run away. Markus and Alex believe Jenny is hiding in the mountain cabin her father has rented.
