Ken's partner, the police dog Robo Lander, is targeted by Ido. Infected with a special virus, Lander starts attacking police officers and civilians one after another. Worried about the spread of damage, Commander Daigo issues the order to destroy Lander. Ken finds this an unacceptable order, but when he sees Lander attacking Eriko and the section chief, he aims his gun at him.
