The Taliban settled in the city. While Gilles, the head of security at the France embassy, tries to organize the evacuation of the refugees, including Zahara, a wanted prosecutor, Giovanni faces hygiene problems at the airport, and Vera goes in search of General Hassan without the support of her superiors. At the same time, Fazal, a soldier in the routed Afghan army, takes refuge with Martin, an American agent he knew, and Amina has to face the Taliban takeover in the hospital and hesitates to flee.
