José Luis receives a letter from Manuel, asking him to meet in the forest for an important reason. Echeñique and Pradenas meet at the agreed place and begin to confront each other dangerously. The worker assures that he will turn himself in, but first they must free María and Violeta. The boss assures that he will not pay attention to the request and Herminia's brother takes Luis Emilio hostage, a situation that leads to the release of both women. Manuel's action not only saves his sister and his niece, but also him, since he manages to escape from José Luis. Once at home, Luis Emilio reveals to Leonor that the supposed attack by the worker was all part of a plan to save himself and she is relieved.
