Teresita finds Violeta in the kitchen and confronts her harshly. Maria's daughter asks Ignacio's sister not to treat her badly. A little afraid, Violeta tells Teresita that she doesn't have to put up with her mistreating her, just when Juan Cristóbal appears and asks what's going on. Violeta, fed up with José Luis' abuse, decides to go to Aunt Carmen's house to ask for a job. However, her parents discover what she did and go looking for her at the brothel, full of fury. Leontina is captured by Herminia and Manuel sets her free, but not before demanding that she deliver an important message to the Echeñiques.
