"You become the hero you want to be!" A boy who admires Bunburu appears and asks to become his apprentice. However, Ishirou doesn't want to get involved in any trouble, so he offers up Joe as a human sacrifice. Joe ends up taking on an apprentice, and patrols the city to show his own hero activities. He helps the elderly, repairs bicycles, and rescues lost dogs... None of these are like the Bunbunger he admires, and the boy is disillusioned because they seem so unimpressive. In the end, Joe makes a mistake because his sense of justice goes awry. Seeing Joe like that, the boy argues that heroes should not make mistakes. However, all humans are creatures who make mistakes. So what is it that makes a hero a hero?
