Pelluco meets with Fernanda to make a confession that torments him. With guilt consuming him, he reveals that he is not Rodolfo. Fernanda's reaction, far from being predictable, takes him completely by surprise. Meanwhile, Pastora loses control when she discovers Betsabé kissing Rodolfo. Also, Rodolfo arrives at Inversiones Ruttenmeyer determined to obtain the position of advisor. However, his arrival does not go unnoticed: Pelluco sees him from the entrance and is paralyzed by panic, aware that his lie could fall apart at any moment.
