Even though Valeria decides to stay at home, Ofelia and Mar pack their bags to start their new life at the Portilla mansion. Priscila takes advantage of Camila's visit to convince Arturo to enjoy their love again. While Mar cleans Camila's bedroom, she discovers her and confronts her, believing that she broke in to steal her dresses. Valeria's illness worsens to the point that she begins to hallucinate that her deceased father has returned to see her. Arturo goes to look for Valeria at Señora García's house, and when he arrives he finds her passed out on the floor of the house and burning with fever.
