Leontina treats Teresita very badly and tells her that she deserves to be going through the serious illness she suffers from. Juan Cristóbal reveals to his wife that he will escape from the farm to get his medicines and José Luis discovers his plan, when he is no longer there. Juan Cristóbal returns to the farm and confronts José Luis, who prevents him from using his medical knowledge with his daughter. However, the doctor was smarter and manages to hide the medicines to give them to Teresita. Luis Emilio tells Violeta that he found a nice place to walk and takes her to the mines that used to belong to his grandfather. While Luis Emilio confesses to Violeta how much he loves her, a collapse begins inside the tunnel that leaves them seriously injured and unconscious. In a work led by Manuel, they manage to get both young people out, but the one who is more seriously injured is Buenaventura's daughter.
