Selfishness is a stumbling block that affects our relationship with God, and it often appears very subtly. When selfishness is prevalent in our lives, we make ourselves the ultimate focal point in relation to God and other people. We put our will, our opinions, our comfort, our feelings (and more) above the desires, thoughts, and needs of others and this impedes God from working inside of us.
