The spectacled alligator is one of the most fascinating animals in South America. He'll be over two meters long and he's got scary teeth. Only the jaguar or a large anaconda can hold its own with a full-grown caiman. Although the alligators were hunted massively, researchers now estimate the population at over ten million animals again. Anna meets the impressive reptiles on the Rio Negro, a river in the Pantanal.
