Max and his pals take a stand against racism in an episode that recalls the latter half of 1964, when Canada was choosing a new flag. Trouble begins when the class is asked to enter new flag designs in a contest, with first prize being a free trip to Ottawa. But when Max learns that the original winner has been relegated to runner up because he's Chinese, he abandons the flag-waving and sets out on the revenge trail.
