Often times deleted scenes are taken out for a reason. They often add unnecessary run time and don't support the overall story. But for How I Met Your Mother this deleted scene from the show's controversial finale could have saved the entire episode. How I Met Your Mother's ending falls pretty flat, but with some extra context it could have been seen in a different light.
