Adriano begs Eva to reconsider her decision to break up with him, since when they get married and are able to live together daily, he will make her fall madly in love. Plutarco assures Helena that when they get married, it will be best for her to stop working. Helena gets upset and makes it clear that she is an independent woman and will not allow it.
