Matthias Maurer has caught gold fever in Australia. The ESA astronaut supports Mat and Andreas in their search for fat nuggets down under. But the men don't always get a hit when the metal detector emits an acoustic signal. On the contrary: very often there is only a horseshoe or an old shovel buried in the ground. The yield so far leaves much to be desired, so the men want to try their luck the next day in a region that is difficult to access. Even getting to the Sandstones is a challenge.
