In the midst of Gotland's Midsummer celebrations, a series of bestial murders with occult omens occurs. A man is found hanged in the forest together with slaughtered animals, another is found sacrificed in his car in a summer meadow. The holiday idyll is shattered, and thoughts soon turn to an old closed-down police investigation - and a long-deceased perpetrator whom someone decided to copy...
