Japan's female long and middle-distance runners have been making their mark on the world stage. Two of the most promising talents to emerge in recent years, Tanaka Nozomi and Hironaka Ririka, share a strong rivalry on the track. 1,500m and 10,000m specialists respectively, their contrasting approach to the 5,000m always makes for a thrilling contest when the pair go head-to-head in competition.
