Tired of his mother's rules, Noby decides to run away from home and get his own apartment, and Doraemon uses a gadget to create a makeshift "apartment," an underground maze of rooms and tunnels. Noby invites Big G, Sneech and Sue to move in with him, but when his friends decide to go home, Noby learns that there really is no place like home.
