Space Detective 556 (Kogoro) and his sister Lavie formally debut in this episode. Keroro takes on this new adversary single-handedly—in a harmless, friendly tussle, as it is revealed that Keroro and 556 are old friends. Life for interstellar immigrants is not an easy one: 556 is unable to hold down a proper job (his habit of collecting junk doesn't help), making Lavie the sole breadwinner - until Keroro tracks down the perfect job, allowing 556 to do what he does best.
