1976. With his sporting career on the wane, Ringo Bonavena arrives in Reno, Nevada, seeking revenge against Muhammad Ali. There, he takes in Joe Conforte, who bought out his contract, along with his wife Sally and their guardian, Willard Ross Brymer. In 1963, young Argentine heavyweight Oscar Bonavena is suspended after a scandalous fight at the Pan American Games in Sao Paulo.
