Seven years ago, Munch lost at the Assizes in a rape case that left him with bitter memories. She defended the young victim, but the rapist was acquitted thanks to the skill of his lawyer. Today, a young gendarmerie captain asks Munch for help in solving a cold case: the disappearance of a young girl who has remained unsolved for several years.
