A quiet village idyll surrounded by the beautiful forests of the Taunus. But the seemingly ideal world is shaken when Tobias Sartorius, released from prison, returns to Altenhain and tears open old wounds that the village community has already repressed. The film was based on motifs from the novel of the same name by Nele Neuhaus.
