Gülfem returns to the mansion as she is concerned about the health of her father who had a heart attack. However Malik Bey wrote a litter to his daughters and has left. Gülfem finds her father at her mother's gravesite as he is about to commit suicide and saves him. Until her father recovers she is forced to stay in the mansion, and also pre-occupy Ali Gelik as well. Even though Davut is not happy about this situation, he does understand and must go along with this for Gülfem's sake. However he too is hiding from Gülfem that he is working for the government uncover. He is forced to go after the guns and he secretly enters Ali's house and finds a trunk full of guns. In order to protect both himself and his daughter from the tyranny of Ali, he decides to bring his mother from Bolu to live with them. Meanwhile in order to get away from Ali and his harassing attacks; Gülfem decides to hide in Zarife's mountain home. Her only hope is that Ali will never find her there...
