Ellie and Gedeon familiarise themselves with the history of the Krampus legend. According to foldklore, the fearsome figure accompanies St. Nicholas and punishes the naughty children. At the same time, they are looking for a woman who has disappeared without a trace. Their investigation leads them to a sect that has withdrawn into a forest and is led by a man named Sebastian Brunner. The investigators believe the murderer was inspired by Brunner. Meanwhile, help comes to late for the missing woman.
