Viennese criminalists are investigating the death of a man who was thrown out of a window. The main suspect is a newly released convict whose ex-wife remarried during his time in prison, as the murdered man was the new husband. Everything indicates that the motive for the act was jealousy. Commissioner Moser, however, finds a pistol among the victim's personal belongings, modified so that she does not shoot. What was the purpose of such a weapon for a man who worked in the security of a large company?
