In Bordeaux, Antoine Mongeville, a former investigating judge, meets Axelle Ferrano, an investigator for the judicial police. While the former magistrate seems to be interested in the disappearances of young women, Axelle, for his part, tries to understand the inexplicable suicide of a business leader. During their investigations, Antoine and Axelle are forced to collaborate. Despite their often difficult relationship and their diametrically opposed temperaments, the former judge and the young policewoman discover that, despite everything, many things bring them together...
