The intro trilogy sees the "C" Team, the newest chapter of Acquisitions Incorporated operating out of Red Larch in the Dessarin Valley, arrive at their designated HQ, the Dran & Quartier inn, only to be trapped in a weird illusory world constructed by Jim Darkmagic on Omin's behest as half-aptitude test, half-hazing ritual.
