Roxy tries to stop Ronnie going to the Slaters’. Ronnie’s furious when Archie offers to take her to see Danielle. Stacey says that Danielle’s father, Andy, is coming to collect her things, it’s not the time for Ronnie to reveal who she is. Jack offers Ronnie his support. Stacey tells Andy Danielle came to Walford to find her birth mother. Ronnie follows Andy to the spot where Danielle died. At the Vic Stacey starts drinking. Archie arrives, and won’t leave until he’s seen Peggy. In the café Andy’s surprised to discover Ronnie was there when Danielle died. Ronnie offers to go with him to identify Danielle’s body. Roxy and Phil unwrap the picture of Danielle and Amy. Roxy tells Archie Peggy’s gone away and he’s not wanted. She throws his suitcase out the window. Janine finds Archie in the street and offers him her hand, he takes it. At the mortuary Ronnie’s distressed when she can’t hold Danielle. Andy realises who she is. When Ronnie tells Andy about the lead up to the accident he says she killed Danielle. The police bring Janine home, they haven’t decided whether to charge her.
