Musicians and DJs have their knowledge of rock and pop music tested in this Top of the Pops 30th anniversary special, featuring rare archive footage of Thin Lizzy, the Smiths, Mott the Hoople and many others. Hosted by Mike Read , with special guest Alan Freeman.

Chris Tarrant takes over from Mike Read in the quiz which tests your knowledge of rock and pop music from the 60s to the present day. Each week, two teams of pop stars pit their wits against one another in rounds of specialist questions.

This week, Eddy Grant, Betty Boo and Carter USM's Jimbob pit their wits against Rick Wakeman , Go West's Richard Drummie and CJ Lewis in rounds of specialist questions.

This week, Mark King of Level 42 and Kym Mazelle and Aaron Poole from Worlds Apart pit their wits against Bruce Dickinson, Dannii Minogue and Edwin Starr in rounds of specialist questions.

Sarah Cracknell of St Etienne, Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet and Terry Hall pit their wits against Clare Grogan , Allan Clarke of the Hollies and Jez Willis of Utah Saints.

This week's pop star teams are captained by Status Quo rockers Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi. Singers Kenny Thomas and Kim Appleby join Rick to pit their wits against Francis, Big Country's Stuart Adamson and Cappella's Kelly Overett in rounds of specialist questions.

The celebrity teams being tested on their knowledge of rock and pop music include Roger Taylor from Queen, Pete Cunnah from D:Ream, Tobyjepson from the Little Angels and Matthew Pateman of Bad Boys Inc.

This week's celebrity teams include Marcella Detroit , Little Angel Toby Jjepson , Patric (ex-Worlds Apart), Des'ree, Jarvis Cocker from chart favourites Pulp and Chesney Hawkes.
