Malene, the surgeon, holds his breath. She has to operate on a healthy woman who wants to donate her one kidney away. In the trauma center, Michael and the team are waiting. The helicopter is on its way with an unconscious man.

A mother and two children have ended up in a car accident, so Michael quickly moves out with the ambulance. Robotic surgery will help Stig, who needs a kidney from his daughter-in-law, Victoria. And then nurse Julie is asked to take on more responsibility.

The helicopter is called to a serious traffic accident. A younger woman is trapped. Meanwhile, Camilla helps a 5-year-old boy who has received a new foot.

Malene needs urgent help during a difficult operation. Lisbeth has to play the violin for a major brain operation. And then Julie takes extra shifts so that the shift schedule can fit together.

Michael is on duty at the helicopter base, but doubts whether he can fly out to an accident. Malene's major operation is underway, but the team is in doubt as to what is best for the patient.

The trauma team must rescue a pregnant woman who has been run over by a truck. Julie has the first shift as the nurse in charge, and Malene has to train a new surgeon in the operating theatre
