In 1991, the bodies of sex workers started being discovered in Detroit. They had been assaulted and strangled to death by 24-year-old Benjamin. One woman survived his attack and helped police to bring his reign of terror to an end but not before he had killed 11 women in the space of seven months, making him one of the prolific serial killers in American history.
