Javiera tries to explain to Teresa that she has no intentions beyond friendship with Manuel. When Teresa mentioned that she was going to get back together with Manuel, the expectant mother of five had a nervous breakdown, and Matilde attributed this to the recent news she had received. Therefore, upon meeting Teresa again, Javiera decided it was time to make it clear that she wanted nothing more than a friendship with Manuel. Meanwhile, Pili explains to Jaime that the problem between Teresa and Manuel isn't them, but him, since he's interfering in the relationship between two adults. She goes on to explain that it was his fault for spoiling Teresa and asks him to leave her alone, since Manuel seems to have some interest in Javiera. Obviously, this news doesn't please Jaime, as his daughter would be devastated, so he insists that Manuel should get back together with Teresa.
