The Golan-Hogeg family from Kibbutz Kfar-Aza wakes up on the morning of October 7th to an inferno as terrorists set fire to their home. The fire that threatens to burn them alive presents them with the option of escaping into the open air and into the hands of the terrorists, or running through the open fire and thus, at all costs, saving the life of their baby daughter. They choose to run through the fire. A choice that leads Ellay, Ariel, and little Yael to feel the inferno firsthand, to undergo a long and harrowing rehabilitation, but also to be saved thanks to their uncompromising love for their little daughter.
