Helpless to free herself from Roberto and Victoria, Mariana ends up accepting that she is responsible for Leonardo's crime. Faced with her confession, the agents arrest her, but she has no idea of the truth behind it. Although the evidence and testimonies point to Mariana as being responsible for Leonardo's death, Roberto has many doubts, as the Ferrer are experts at evading justice. After his disappointment with Paul, Patricio finds a new opportunity for love in Germán. However, Luciana warns him that the lawyer is not a good person, but she doesn't want to reveal the crimes he is hiding. Confident that Germán and his family are going to get her released for Leonardo's crime, Mariana receives a bucket of cold water. The judge in charge of her case sentences her to be transferred to a maximum security prison.
