Revealed as the person responsible for putting an end to Leonardo's days, Inés tells Enrique everything that happened. The politician's wife didn't allow her lover to reveal the hidden crime and preferred to silence him with her own hands. Knowing that she was truly responsible for Leonardo's crime, Inés decides to sacrifice her sister to save herself. Enrique's wife assures Mariana that she is the only one to blame. In an attempt to find evidence to prove the Ferrer' crimes, Roberto and Victoria visit their house. But it is the prosecutor who provokes the politician's fury by mentioning the case of Inés and Leonardo. Terrified by the presence of Roberto and Victoria in her home, Mariana can't contain herself, as she believes she is responsible for a crime. To the agents' surprise, Inés' sister says that she is to blame for taking Leonardo's life.
